The Pyramid was originally a Church (The Capstone Cathedral) built in 1968
The first step was to remove the seats and ceiling tiles and prepare the floor to be leveled.
Digging up the concrete floor required heavy equipment and took several weeks of backbreaking work.
The next step was to bring in dirt so the floor could be leveled. It previously was almost 10 feet lower near the stage.
Once the floor was perfectly leveled, it was prepped for a layer of fresh concrete.
4 inches of concrete are carefully layered onto the floor in three separate sections.
